Location

The Hunter Valley Highland Games will be hosted at Saltire Estate in Lovedale. The Estate is situated 2 hours from Sydney, 75 minutes from Muswellbrook and 50 minutes from Newcastle. Google Maps Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/c4d2QxRAi4V8pLyz9

From Sydney via Pacific Motorway:

• Follow Pacific Motorway then turn onto Hunter Expressway heading West.
• Take the Lovedale Turn-off and then turn right onto wilderness road.
• Follow along until you spot the Scottish flags on the left!

From Muswellbrook via New England Hwy:

• Jump onto the New England Hwy Heading south and follow along until the Greta/Branxton Turn-off. Take the first exit and head towards Greta, following the New England Hwy.
• Take a right onto Nelson St and follow the road all the way to Lovedale road, taking a right at the end.
• Turn right onto wilderness road and continue until you see the waving Scottish flags on the left!

From Newcastle via Pacific Hwy:

• Head onto Newcastle Link Rd towards the Hunter Expy and follow all the way to the Lovedale turn-off
• Then, turn right onto wilderness road.
• Follow along until you spot the Scottish flags on the left!

Once at Saltire:

Once you turn into Saltire Estate, you'll be greeted by the parking marshals. Follow the gravel road down to the event (It is about a kilometre drive, so don't be worried if it takes a while). At the end, you'll be assisted by more parking marshals who will help in guiding you to the parking area.
