Join us as we host the annual National Highlander Championships, where both men and women compete in traditional Scottish Highland events. Watch as competitors push themselves in classic displays of strength, such as the Caber Toss, Stones of Strength, Husafell Stone Carry and much more.

Pipe Bands & Quintet Displays

While enjoying all of the cultural displays, feats of strength and stalls, take a moment and listen to the phenomenal tunes of the Scottish pipe bands, echoing through the event as the day progresses. Marvel at the captivating finesse of the flourishing drum majors and feel the bellowing sounds of the pipes, full of Scottish pride and spirit!

Dancing & Historical Display

Witness the elegance and gracefulness of the Highland Fling Dancing display as well as classic Country dancing, capturing the beauty and vibrancy of this important Scottish tradition.

Want to learn more about Scottish history & traditions? At the Hunter Valley Highland Games, there will be a plethora of activities and entertainment options to explore. Learn about the clothing, trades, weaponry and culture of the Jacobite era during the 17th and 18th century with this must-see re-enactment.

Family Friendly Activities

All age groups are encouraged and welcome to come along to the Hunter Valley Highland Games, where we have activities for all age groups. For the little ones, there will be face painting, a jumping castle, Celtic arts & crafts and much more to keep them entertained. To top it all off, the event will feature Highland Cows, so make sure to stop by and say hello!

Roam the venue and stop by some Celtic stalls, where you can support small businesses and hobbyists and take home memorabilia from the Highland Games.
